Have I Ever Talked About How Much I Despise Summer?

Because I do. I really, really do. How could anyone like this nonsense?!

I loathe this season. I absolutely hate everything about this time of year. I would do anything to not be here, in Vancouver, on this roasting planet, right here and right now. And every summer is going to be worse than the last one, isn’t it?

Seasonal Affective Disorder is not solely reserved for winter, which I love. I am happy with every part of the year except for this one.

This is hell, for every single reason I am too tired to name. Hope you’re enduring it better than I am.

I kind of agree, I’m not a fan of heat, and can’t imagine with the smoke from all the forest fires….I remember (okay a long time ago) Expo 86 started off with, of course rain, then became a scorcher…which was really uncomfortable..I actually liked Vancouver spring, fall, and the rain was fine…okay maybe not driving through the floods of Scott Road on the way to work in Surrey/Bridge view…

My (very young) memories of Expo 86 are fabulous, but as a kid, everything kinda seemed that way. I grew up on the Coastal mountain range, went to college on the North Shore mountains, went to university on Burnaby Mountain, and rain/fog/cool weather is all I feel comfortable in. This bullshit is just…bullshit!
